The goal of this page is a new photo every week -- or at least regularly!

 

 

Is this a bad photo?  No, of course not.  I wouldn't post a poor photo on our website.  After all, the website is supposed to show off our best photos.  This isn't a bad photo -- it's a Lens Baby photo.  That is, this photo was made with a cheap plastic lens that has a lot of distortion.  The Lens Baby has no automatic features.  It is focused by pushing or pulling on its bellows mount.  In addition to focusing, the bellows mounting allows the lens elements to be twisted and misaligned.  This is art and I had to work hard to get it!
