Ocean Springs, Mississippi

Ocean Springs, called home by some 18,000 Mississippians, is neatly nestled on the Gulf Coast just east of Biloxi. The word “quaint” is often used to describe Ocean Springs – especially the older parts of the town. Founded in 1699 by the French, Ocean Springs rightly claims a rich history. More recently, Ocean Springs has gained a reputation as a community of arts and artists. As the hometown of the artist Walter Inglis Anderson, Ocean Springs celebrates its own at the Walter Anderson Museum of Art and an annual festival. More personally, after being raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, we celebrate our own families by returning regularly.
